Nursery times for the current year are 9:00 until 12:00 each day. Lunch club is available until 12:45pm every day at a charge of £2.50 per day. You may pre-order a school meal or provide a packed lunch for your child.

Please do not send children before 8:40am. Although staff are in attendance early, they are working to prepare for the day’s lessons and are unable to supervise the children before 8:40am. The bell is rung at 8:50am each morning. Playtimes are of course always supervised.

Please see the sections later on in this brochure regarding Breakfast Club and After School Club which can offer care for your child from 8am – 5pm on school days.

Home to School Transport

Children that arrive by school bus or taxi are met at the bus/taxi by a member of staff and escorted onto the school premises, likewise at the end of the school day, children are escorted onto the school bus by members of staff. Unless written notification is received from a parent advising of a change, bus children will always be placed on the bus, etc. We do not accept verbal instructions from children, e.g. ‘I am going to a friend's tonight and will not be on the bus’. This rule is to ensure your child’s safety.

Only children that possess a valid bus pass may travel on the school buses. The bus companies are not insured to transport children that do not have a bus pass.  Please visit www.lincolnshire.gov.uk/school-college-transport for more information.

End of Day

Please ensure that you give the school clear instructions for your child concerning their arrangements for travelling home. Unless informed otherwise, class teachers will expect that their children are to be collected from the playground at the end of the day by their parent/carer. If you allow your child to walk home, be collected by another parent, etc, please ensure that we are informed in writing of these arrangements in advance or contacted as early in the day as possible for a one-off occurrence. If you wish to advise the school of long term arrangements please do so in writing.

Officially the school day starts at 8.50 with registration but we encourage families to send their children in at 8.40 where teachers provide a variety of activities to prepare them for the school day. Official registration for the afternoon session is at 1:00 pm. Parents should contact school as early as possible on the first day of absence, and every subsequent day if their child is not going to be in attendance. A written request should be made if you wish to take a child out of school for medical or dental appointments and holidays.
