  • Our New Headteacher!

    Published 27/05/22

    Dear Parents and Carers,

I am writing to inform you of some exciting news. As you know, we were very sad to learn of Mrs Rayner’s retirement at the end of this academic year. Replacing her was always going to be a very difficult task.

The Governing Body, together with the Local Authority advisors, were delighted to interview three very strong candidates who were shortlisted from a strong group of applicants.

We are happy to announce that we have appointed Miss Vicki Hardwick as our new Head Teacher.

Miss Hardwick has been a highly successful Head of School at Skegness Junior School in Skegness for the last 4 years and is passionate about making sure our children receive the best start in their academic life as possible.

We look forward to welcoming Miss Hardwick to Old Leake, you will get the opportunity to meet Miss Hardwick when she takes up her post in September.

An exciting new year awaits us for 2022-23 and we are delighted to have our new Headteacher in place to lead us into the new phase of development for Old Leake Primary School.

    Yours sincerely,

    Andrew Higginson

    Chair of Governors
